We won the 2018 NAMBA National Chamionship in Plimited Cat
Updated: Nov 12, 2018
We had a quick visit to Texas for the NAMBA Nationals last month . Heading to Dallas for the Nationals , Micheal Stancombe had a heavy heart, as he lost one of his best friends and racer Mike Anderson the weekend before.
Heading into the Nationals we knew it was not going to be an easy win. But, with 3 Pro Marine RC boats in the fight we had a chance. Winning the first heat set was up pretty good. As setting up 3 boats wasn’t enough. We worked on 2 customers boats so they were competitive . We want our customers to have the same winning set ups as we use. No matter who wins, as long as it’s a Pro Marine RC boat, we win.
Going into the final heat we were in second place in points and it was all on the line. Just before the start, both the forst place and third place points boats hit each other just behind us. David’s MTR prepped by us took the lead and never looked back. With our green Skater following close behind to win the National Championship overall.
This was our owner, Micheal Stancombe’s first National Championship driving his own Pro Marine RC Plimited Skater using an all stock boat a Brian Buass prepped ABC Prop , HobbyWing esc and the Pro Marine RC 3656 2030kv Plimited motor.
We are ecstatic about winning our 3rd championship of the year in 2018 .
OUT OF THE BOX WINNERS .
And another notable is David Thomas’s 2nd place overall finish in PCat with our Carbon Edition Skater X-2. Despite our scrambling to find an issue in the boat . Dave and Mike were able to locate the issue and fix it . David drove a great race . He was also racing our Pro Marine MTR in Plimited Cat and did incredible.
we would like to thank our dealer network and customers around the world for the support.
You all own National Championship winning hills .
